ACANRE fabrics & care

At ACANRE, natural fibers are not just a material choice — they are part of our philosophy.

We choose them deliberately for their authenticity, comfort, and the way they age beautifully with time. Each piece is crafted to feel effortless, yet carries a depth that synthetic fabrics simply can’t replicate.

Because of their living, organic nature, natural fibers ask for a little more care — and we embrace that. The slow, intentional attention they require mirrors the values behind ACANRE itself: durability, mindfulness, and respect for the materials that shape our everyday essentials.

We design with the belief that garments should not only look good, but live well — creating a quiet connection between wearer and piece.

Cotton is a natural, plant-based fiber sourced from the blossoms of the cotton shrub. Known for its exceptional breathability and hypoallergenic qualities, it absorbs moisture with ease and allows the skin to breathe without irritation — making it the perfect companion for warm seasons and hot climates.

Beyond comfort, cotton stands out for its strength and longevity. It is a durable, long-lasting, and fully recyclable material, supporting both responsible production and mindful wear.

Care:

Cotton is simple to maintain and does not require harsh or specialized detergents. It can be machine-washed at 30–40°C and ironed at high temperatures (up to 200°C) to preserve its natural structure and smooth finish.

Silk is one of the most luxurious natural fibers of animal origin. Lightweight, elastic, and exceptionally smooth, it offers hypoallergenic properties and allows the skin to breathe without irritation. Despite its delicate appearance, silk is surprisingly strong and durable when cared for properly.

One of silk’s unique qualities is its ability to absorb up to 75% of moisture while remaining dry to the touch. To preserve its natural beauty, silk should be aired regularly, washed sparingly by hand in cold water (around 30°C) with a gentle silk detergent and softener, and protected from moths.

Silk invites mindful wear — pieces that require care reward you with elegance and lasting comfort.

Wool, like silk, is a natural animal fiber and comes in many types, including merino, alpaca, mohair. Wool fabrics are naturally antibacterial, thermoregulating, and breathable, keeping the skin comfortable across temperatures.

Wool is resistant to wrinkles, dries quickly, repels dirt, and is highly durable when maintained correctly. It is best cared for by hand washing at 30°C or using a wool-specific machine program, with dedicated wool detergents and softeners.

Wool embodies resilience and versatility — a fabric that moves with life, while honoring the natural rhythm of your body.

VISCOSE

natural fabric viscose

Viscose is a regenerated fiber derived from wood, offering the softness, drape, and gentle touch of natural fabrics. Highly breathable and smooth, it allows the skin to move freely while maintaining a refined silhouette.

Viscose requires careful handling, as moisture can weaken the fibers. Wash at 30°C with gentle agitation, avoid twisting or wringing, and handle delicately to maintain its softness and longevity.
